The great project that we have been working on for more than two years and that has seen a long architectural, engineering and construction design is now a reality. A new building, modern and bright, measuring more than 10,000 sqm, stands next to the historic building - which will remain active - where our family’s ravioli have been produced for about 40 years.
An ambitious and futuristic plant made of Tx Active, a mix of cement and photoactive binders with photocatalytic properties capable of breaking down pollutants in the air: the building corresponds to the planting of 357 trees!
With the opening of the new warehouse, for 2 months, there has been an upgrade of the internal logistics: thanks to a 600-seat refrigerated pallet space and the advent of a WMS software on our needs, there will be new models for managing product flows, raw materials and subsidiaries, for better handling efficiency (also optimised by LGV systems).
There is great expectation for the 1st floor of the building, where, together with the current production, the heart of the company will pulsate. The new surfaces will host, step by step, 4 new lines for filled pasta, active since October/November '25, all to face new and large production volumes, made possible thanks to technological investments on the latest generation plants, for automation and autonomation. The first new line will produce about 1000 kg/h of filled pasta compared to 500 kg/h of a current one.
It will then be the turn of the top floor, the space for offices, in an interpenetration between interior and exterior, with green areas designed for people and real work spaces. There will be an auditorium to create more and more moments of encounter between people: formative, supportive, corporate and informal.
The new plant thus brings with it great and new dreams, incredible efforts, as well as the development of an ever stronger shared understanding.
