Productive and environmental sustainability
Sustainability for us is an act of awareness, not a slogan.
Every new production choice has a goal: to reduce the environmental impact as much as possible without ever sacrificing quality.
New green plant
We are finalising a new 10,000 sqm plant in Lonate Ceppino, next to the current one, designed according to green architecture principles. It will be equipped with 5.0 technologies, photocatalytic cement materials capable of reducing polluting emissions and systems to optimise energy and water consumption, as well as self-produced energy from photovoltaic systems and purchased from certified renewable sources.
Lighter and recycled packaging
Today, we use packaging composed of 70% recycled plastic, with a reduced weight of plastic material compared to last year. The new back labels are made with an innovative material that can promote and facilitate the complete recycling of the packaging. The cartons produced are composed of 80% recycled paper and their labels are obtained from a circular economy project, designed for reuse, instead of the incinerator, of the silicone paper present in the company (consequently reducing CO2 emissions and water consumption).
Raw materials from the controlled supply chain
We prefer Italian suppliers and a short supply chain; we select quality ingredients, personally requiring our collaborators and suppliers to meet high quality standards, verified through appropriate audits.
Reduction of the environmental impact
We work to reduce and optimise emissions, water consumption and waste in all production phases, adhering to circular economy projects such as Cycle4Green, to give new life to materials and destine them for reuse.
