The quality and the standards to obtain it are not only a promise for Scoiattolo, but a concrete commitment, confirmed by internationally recognised certifications. We achieve the highest standards thanks to structured processes, regular audits – often unannounced – and constant care at every stage of production.

Our supply chain and processes are safe and controlled daily by an internal team of qualified pasta makers, technologists and operators. Every 30 minutes, a double check ensures the correct pasteurisation and storage of the product. Every day we cook and taste our pasta to check its consistency, humidity, microbiological parameters and taste, guaranteeing high standards in all references.

International quality and food safety certifications

IFS Food – Higher Level (unannounced audit)

International certification among the most widely in demand by large-scale distribution, both in Europe and in the rest of the world. Scoiattolo achieved the highest level, following unannounced inspections, confirming thereliability and transparency of our production processes.


BRCGS – Grade AA+ (unannounced audit)

One of the most stringent global standards for food safety. By passing the unannounced audit with the maximum score, Scoiattolo was able to emphasise its safety and reliability.


ISO 9001

The benchmark standard for corporate quality management. It recognises the efficiency and effectiveness of our processes, with a focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Bio / USDA Organic

Certification for organic production, which guarantees sustainable agricultural practices, respect for biodiversity and use of natural ingredients.

Vegan Certification

Recognition for products formulated without ingredients of animal origin, in line with the ethical and dietary values of a growing number of consumers.

AIC – Crossed Spike (Gluten Free)

Scoiattolo is authorised to produce gluten-free fresh pasta (e.g., Tortellini with raw ham and ricotta and spinach Ravioloni), according to the standards of the Italian Celiac Association. The Crossed Spike mark is the official guarantee of safety for celiac consumers.

Certifications for environmental sustainability

Ecovadis – Bronze Medal (Top 35%)

In 2025 we obtained the Ecovadis assessment with the Bronze recognition: a result that places us in the top 35% of the most virtuous companies in the environmental, ethical and social field.

MSC – Marine Stewardship Council

International certification for fish from sustainable fisheries, guarantee during every phase of the supply chain. Our MSC seafood products are recognisable by the official blue mark.

ASC – Aquaculture Stewardship Council

Certification for responsible aquaculture, which guarantees traceability, respect for theenvironment and protection of social conditions in the production of farmed fish.

Rainforest Alliance

Mark that promotes and protects sustainable agricultural practices and supply chain social responsibility. RA certified products meet stringent criteria on environmental conservation, fairness and welfare of agricultural communities.
