Donations and the fight against waste
We collaborate daily with associations such as Banco Alimentare, Caritas and many local organisations to reduce food waste and at the same time actively contribute to the support of families in difficulty: in 2024 alone, over 17,700 kg of product, equivalent to 35,500 meals, were donated, helping to save more than 28,600 kg of CO₂, over 50,000 m2 of soil and almost 33,000 m3 of water. At the same time, we constantly support local events, not for profit, to promote community life and its projects.
Educational and social projects
We support the growth of the new generations, financing initiatives such as the creation of the school space in the Paediatrics department of the Tradate Hospital, food education courses for secondary school students, projects such as the Varese School Cup, to promote through sport a dynamic and participatory activation in the educational field of students, on several areas; as well as various interventions in favour of projects dedicated to people with disabilities or in need (new UICI Varese headquarters, constant support for the Il Pezzettino Community, etc.)
Inclusion and corporate welfare
We think and activate services, opportunities and conventions aimed at supporting the well-being of people in the company; we promote women's health with supportive initiatives; we believe in overcoming stereotypes and protecting gender orientation and identity; we implement programmes to welcome and support social fragility. For us, sustainability is also made up of small daily gestures, which seek to improve the lives of those around us.
