There are perfect days... full of sunshine, sharing, knowledge and care!
Moments experienced together among colleagues and families, immersed in one of the greatest beauties of "our" Varese, the Campo dei Fiori, and designed to be an active part of new awareness for adults and children.
A day strongly desired by the company to promote environmental activities in the territory capable of creating value and, at the same time, strengthening the bond between colleagues, to contribute together and in a new way to a greater purpose.
This is how, in just under two hours and with more than 60 active arms, 55 trees of different species were planted (and selected by a dedicated scientific committee), all under the careful and expert advice of the volunteer forestry technicians of the Campo dei Fiori. In the context of the planting, a beautiful group walk from the Osteria Irma car park to the GV Schiaparelli Astronomical Observatory, visited by many, to finish with a packed lunch in company ... more than deserved!
The initiative was organised together with and thanks to Selvatica, a non-profit planting project that since 2020 aims at increasing the number of trees in the territory of Varese to generate a positive environmental impact, promoting biodiversity and redeveloping the green areas affected by Storm Alex, in the same year. An idea promoted by the TEDxVarese team, in collaboration with the Municipality of Varese, the Chamber of Commerce, the Community Foundation of Varese and the Lombardy Region.
All to transfer the importance of a new collective and shared dimension of corporate social responsibility and to let people experience Scoiattolo together inside and outside the company, for a good cause that involves all of us
