Once again this year, we are proud to share a document drawn up on a voluntary basis, for the fourth year running, which outlines the path we are taking to realise our vision of growth, with a responsible focus on people, quality and the environment.
2024 was a year of evolution and consolidation, a year of conscious choices and projects that speak of quality, care for the environment, responsible supply chains, committed people and a region that continues to grow alongside us. A journey made up of concrete steps, aimed at building an increasingly conscious and respectful model of development.
From the selection of raw materials to production processes, from our focus on people’s well-being to initiatives dedicated to the local area, we have worked to improve every stage of how we produce and operate as a business. It is a journey that involves the whole company and is strengthened by our collaboration with the community around us.
The workforce has grown to 167 employees (up 17% on 2023), with women accounting for 33% of the workforce. Over the course of the year, training programmes and the focus on safety were enhanced, thanks in part to the introduction of new roles dedicated to HSE management and investments in internal communication tools designed to strengthen cohesion and knowledge-sharing. Environmental commitment translates into measurable results.
2024 marks the first year of reporting on Scope 3 emissions, thereby expanding the mapping of the carbon footprint across the entire value chain. Total emissions amount to 5,803 tonnes of CO₂e (market-based). Progress is significant: a 8.5% reduction in direct and indirect emissions and a 12% reduction in emissions intensity, despite economic growth of 3.6%. A concrete sign that development and the reduction of environmental impact can go hand in hand.
